ABOUT KATHY. Katherine Kane was born in Tallahassee, Florida in 1958. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1979 with a degree in Classics and received her law degree from the Florida State . University College of Law in 1985. From 1986 through 1993, Ms. Kane was a litigation associate with Berman & Clark, P.C. in Los Angeles. For the next ten years, she practiced law as a partner of the Los Angeles firm, Clark & Kramer, P.C. Ms. Kane established her solo law firm in 2003.
